PROPERTY MANAGEMENT TRANSITION SPECIALIST - NEWPORT BEACH, CA (HYBRID)
 

Job Summary:
The Transition Specialist will be responsible for verifying accuracy and completion of the property transitions process, including onboarding and offboarding properties. This involves continuous evaluation of the processes and system workflow, identifying areas in need of improvement and ways to streamline processes to enhance overall success. They will work closely with all departments and operational teams to ensure smooth property transitions.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible as lead for all property transitions.
• Ensures all tasks in the transition process are completed accurately and timely by all departments.
• Responsible for maintaining up-to-date and accurate processes for transitioning properties.
• Review processes and update processes as needed. This involves working with operations and department team leaders to confirm and make necessary changes and updates to the process.
• Maintain a close working relationship with client advisory group to identify client needs. Attend client calls as needed.
• Initiates and maintains relationships with all departments/support services and all operational teams.
• Provides ongoing support by maintaining relationships with outside vendors involved in the transition process.
• Keeps management apprised of transition process and system updates on a regular basis through status updates and summary reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.

 

Education and Experience:
• Previous experience property transitions/project management within the multi-family industry highly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; college degree is preferred.

 

Other Qualifications:
• Minimum 2-5 years' experience in multi-family real estate preferred.

• Exceptional organizational ability and follow-up required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat, and Windows Operating Systems (Windows XP, Windows 7, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Able to get along well with others.
• Able to work independently.

 

Salary is $38.50-$43.25/hour.  We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a 401(K) match, and regular full-time employees who work between 30-40 hours a week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits and vacation accrual. Sick time accrual is provided in accordance with law.
